SCHOOLS MUSICALS

 

In 2001, Music Link International and the prestigious educational publisher A and C Black launched Jack and the Beanstalk and Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, the first in a series of schools' musicals, based around the Roald Dahl new music commissions. Taking themes and excerpts from the orchestral works which themselves are based on Roald Dahl's Revolting Rhymes, two teams of composers and songwriters have created entertaining and flexible musicals, designed for performance in schools by children with a wide range of musical skills and levels of ability.

 

Each pack comes with piano vocal score, pull-out script, cast list and production overview. There is also a CD/CD ROM with performances of all the songs, backing tracks for all the songs, excerpts from the original work to accompany dance and mime work, as well as a host of other related downloadable classroom activities.
